Corinthian column capital

A Corinthian column capital is a Corinthian-order capital element placed on the upper end of a column shaft, decorated with acanthus leaves. It is used as the transition piece connecting the column shaft to the ceiling or beam and forms the main detail of the classical architectural look. It sits on the end of the shaft and is fixed with construction adhesive. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being far lighter than stone and plaster capitals, it can be installed by one person and adds no extra load to the column.
