Corinthian column

A Corinthian column is a polyurethane decorative column of the Corinthian architectural order, with its shaft and an acanthus-leaf capital on top. It is used in entrances, living rooms, column cladding and facade decoration to achieve a classical look. The shaft can be clad over an existing load-bearing pillar, while the capital and base are placed at the ends. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being much lighter than stone and plaster columns makes transport and installation easier. Because it is mould-cast, the shaft flutes and capital details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces the Corinthian column in different diameters and heights.
