cornice profile

A cornice profile is a polyurethane profile with a projecting cross-section, applied to the corner where the wall meets the ceiling. By creating a line of shadow and depth at the ceiling edge, it covers the wall-to-ceiling transition and gives the space an architectural finish. It is used as a cornice line on living room, hall and bedroom ceilings. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. It is much lighter than plaster cornices, more resistant to breakage and can be cut without waste. Because it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section is identical on every piece, which gives clean joints along long ceiling runs.
