corner profile

A corner profile is a polyurethane profile element applied to wall corners that protects and straightens the corner line. It is used on outer corners to protect the edge from impact and on inner corners to cover the joint line. It is placed in the corner and fixed with construction adhesive, applied together with panelling or strip lines. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Compared with timber and plaster equivalents it is unaffected by moisture and resistant to breakage. Because it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section is identical on every piece and gives clean joints along corner lines.
