water-resistant coving

Water-resistant coving is a decorative polyurethane border profile used at the wall-to-ceiling joint and made to suit damp areas. It frames the ceiling edge in bathrooms, kitchens and living rooms where moisture is heavy. Polyurethane does not absorb water and withstands moisture and impact; unlike plaster coving it will not crack, blister or sag from moisture, and unlike wood it will not rot. Being light, it is fixed straight on with mounting adhesive and installs faster than its plaster counterpart. The surface takes paint. Because it is mould-cast, the profile and pattern detail repeat the same on every piece. Polure produces water-resistant coving in a range of widths and profiles.
