Neoclassical Facade Casing

A neoclassical facade casing is a classically profiled frame element applied around the windows and doors of a neoclassical-style building. Mounted along the edges of openings, it emphasises windows and doors and gives the facade a symmetrical order. A polyurethane casing is lightweight and applied directly to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or warp, and can be painted. On a facade it is unaffected by moisture compared with plaster alternatives, and lighter than stone and concrete, so installation is completed faster. Because it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section repeats identically on every piece, so all openings look consistent. Polure produces facade casings in a range of width and profile options.
