Hotel facade decoration is polyurethane exterior ornamentation applied to the outer surfaces of hotel buildings with elements such as window surrounds, string courses, cornices and columns. It is applied around windows, at floor transitions and entrance sections to add architectural lines and relief to the building facade. Polyurethane products used outdoors resist moisture, sunlight and temperature changes; they are lightweight, do not crack or swell, and can be painted with exterior paint. Being lighter than stone or concrete, they are installed with mounting adhesive and mechanical fixing without adding load to the facade structure. Because they are mould-produced, profile and motif details repeat identically along the facade.
