Polyurethane Fireplace Niche

A polyurethane fireplace niche is a decorative application in which a recess or panel created in the wall for placing a fireplace is bounded with a polyurethane surround. By framing the section where an electric or bioethanol unit will be placed, it creates a defined fireplace area. Polyurethane is light and is fixed to the wall with mounting adhesive or screws; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack or swell and can be painted. Because it is applied over the existing wall, it requires no demolition and installs quickly. The surface can be painted with a marble, wood or solid-colour effect. Because the surround profiles are mould-cast, the details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces fireplace niche surrounds in a range of sizes and styles.
