polyurethane surround and column

A polyurethane surround and column is an arrangement in which a casing that forms an opening frame on the facade is used together with a column element that adds a vertical accent to an entrance or facade surface. While the surround frames the edges of windows and doors, the column shaft with its capital and base adds a vertical architectural element to the facade. It is used especially on entrance facades and in classical-style arrangements. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied with adhesive and dowels; it resists moisture, frost and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. It is far lighter than a stone equivalent and installs faster. Because the profiles and column parts are cast in moulds, the details stay consistent.
