A polyurethane ceiling rose is a decorative polyurethane element, mostly round or oval, applied to the centre of the ceiling. It is usually placed around a chandelier or lighting fixture to create an ornament and focal point at the centre of the ceiling. It is used indoors on hall, living room and dining room ceilings. The polyurethane rose is lighter than plaster; handling and installation are easy, it is applied to the ceiling with adhesive, and its centre can be opened for the lighting cable. The material resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or peel, and can be painted. Because it is mould-cast, the rose pattern repeats identically on every piece.
