Polyurethane Oval Ceiling Medallion P7148

The P7148 is a premium oval-shaped polyurethane ceiling medallion designed to establish a striking architectural focal point. Measuring 447x680 mm with a depth of 44 mm, this relief-carved ornament introduces classical aesthetics to modern and traditional ceilings alike, transforming plain plasterboard surfaces into structured works of art.

Engineered from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this medallion mirrors the crisp details of traditional plaster carving while offering the durability and lightweight properties of modern polymers. It is structurally stable, meaning it will not warp, crack, or shrink over time. The product arrives with a factory-applied primer that prepares the surface for finishing. However, as paint manufacturers often require their own specific primers for warranty coverage, applying an additional primer layer is optional and at the customer's discretion.

The visual composition of the P7148 features symmetrical floral motifs, acanthus leaf flourishes, and a detailed beaded border running along its oval perimeter. A pre-formed central opening allows for seamless integration with light fixtures or chandelier cables, ensuring a clean and professional installation that elevates the visual scale of any room.

This decorative medallion is highly versatile, fitting beautifully above dining tables, in spacious living rooms, grand hotel lobbies, or boutique commercial spaces. Because the closed-cell material is highly moisture-resistant, it is also suitable for covered outdoor verandas, patios, and humid indoor spa environments, provided it is finished with a UV-resistant exterior topcoat to prevent yellowing.

Installing the P7148 is significantly faster and safer than mounting heavy, fragile plaster alternatives. The piece is secured using a polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive combined with mechanical screws for permanent stability. Once mounted, screw holes and joints can be filled, lightly sanded, and coated with water-based or synthetic paints to match your interior design.
