Polyurethane Ceiling Cornice

A polyurethane ceiling cornice is a decorative trim profile, made of polyurethane, that runs horizontally along the line where the ceiling meets the wall. In rooms such as living rooms, hallways and entrances, it softens the transition between ceiling and wall and creates a recess for concealed lighting. The polyurethane is lightweight and is fixed directly to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted in any colour. Because it is lighter than plaster, cutting and joining are quick and the risk of breakage during handling is low.
