Precast facade cladding is a facade application that covers a building's exterior with decorative elements cast in moulds beforehand. Traditional precast cladding uses cement-based panels, while polyurethane precast achieves the same appearance with a far lighter material. Parts such as window surrounds, cornices, sills and panels are produced in the factory and fixed to the facade on site with mounting adhesive and mechanical fasteners. Polyurethane is lightweight, so it adds no extra load to the structure and installs quickly. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and can be painted with exterior paint.
