rustic rafter decor
Rustic rafter decor is a wood-textured polyurethane decorative cladding element that carries the natural timber look of roof rafters. It is used on open ceilings, verandas and between beams to give a rustic timber rafter effect. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Unlike real wood it does not absorb moisture and swell, does not rot and is not attacked by insects; compared with plaster it is lighter and more break-resistant. Because the grain and knot details on the surface are mould-produced, they repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces rustic rafter decor in various sizes and textures.
