Rustic Corbel Models
Rustic corbel models cover a range of wood-textured, load-bearing-look polyurethane corbel and support types. They are used at beam ends and beneath shelves and corbels as ornamental elements that mimic a timber load-bearing support. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Unlike real wood it does not absorb moisture and swell and is not attacked by insects, and compared with plaster it is lighter and more break-resistant. Because the wood grain and knot details on the surface are mould-produced, they repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces rustic corbel models in a range of sizes and forms.
