Ceiling corner decoration is the general name for polyurethane decorative elements applied to the corners and joints of a ceiling. Cornices, corner profiles, corner pieces and ornaments are used within this scope; they are preferred to smooth out the ceiling-wall transition and emphasise the corners. The polyurethane pieces are lightweight and applied directly to the surface with construction adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Because they are mould-cast, the motif details repeat identically on every piece and symmetrical corner arrangements are easily set up.
