Moisture-Resistant Ceiling Panel
Assess water and moisture exposure using the product technical data, surface finish and installation details. Produced from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these panels achieve a closed-cell physical structure with water absorption under 1%, helping them resist warping, swelling, rot, or bacterial mold growth. Engineered with wood-like mechanical toughness and a fire class rating of B2, they maintain dimensional stability, which has been tested between -20 °C and +70 °C. Each panel is factory-coated with a white acrylic technical primer and is ready for topcoat painting. Installation involves applying continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on wall/ceiling contact surfaces and securing panels with countersunk screws, followed by acrylic filler finishing.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes Polure waterproof ceiling panels suitable for humid environments?
Assess water and moisture exposure using the product technical data, surface finish and installation details.
What temperature range can waterproof ceiling panels withstand?
They have been tested for dimensional stability between -20 °C and +70 °C without shrinking, warping, or expanding.
How are waterproof ceiling panels installed?
Install with a dual system using continuous PU assembly adhesive on contact edges and countersunk mechanical screws. Fill screw holes with acrylic filler before painting.
Can silicone adhesive be used for installing moisture-resistant ceiling panels?
No, silicone adhesive is strictly forbidden as it lacks the required bonding strength. Only polyurethane assembly adhesive must be used.
What type of paint should be applied to waterproof ceiling panels?
Water-based or synthetic paints can be applied over the factory acrylic primer after lightly sanding the surface with 180-220 grit paper.
