Decorative Polyurethane Decoupe Panel 57x57 cm

The P8142 decorative polyurethane openwork panel is a premium architectural element engineered to introduce depth, geometric complexity, and rich shadow play to interior and exterior surfaces. Measuring 570x570 mm with a robust 36 mm thickness, this square panel features an intricate interlocking circular pattern that functions perfectly as a striking individual focal point or as a repeating modular wall installation.

Crafted from rigid polyurethane with a high density of 150-220 kg/m³, this panel offers the solid tactile feel and structural integrity of hardwood without any of its organic vulnerabilities. It resists moisture absorption (under 1%), preventing rotting, warping, or cracking, with dimensional stability tested between -20 °C and +70 °C. This ensures excellent dimensional stability over decades of use.

Visually, the model showcases a balanced geometric mandala design. A central solid ring is encircled by eight smaller hollow rings, which are framed by larger intersecting arcs that merge into the outer square border. This openwork (decoupe) layout makes it exceptionally suitable for backlighting integration, allowing light to filter through the hollow segments to create dramatic shadow effects on the background.

This versatile panel can be used as a decorative wall accent in premium bedrooms, a textured background for media consoles, or set into ceilings as an alternative to traditional medallions. For commercial settings like hotels, restaurants, or offices, multiple panels can be arranged to create screens, partitions, or feature walls. When finished with a UV-resistant coating, it serves as a refined facade ornament for outdoor residential projects.

Compared to heavy plaster or fragile MDF, this lightweight panel is highly manageable during installation. It arrives with a factory-applied primer coat that prepares the surface for final painting. While the factory primer provides an excellent base, paint manufacturers often require their own primers for warranty coverage, making an additional primer coat optional but recommended based on your paint choice.
