Round Column Ornament

A round column ornament is a decorative element applied to the shaft, capital, or base of a cylindrical column. It adds detail to the column surface in the form of a relief motif, flute, or band, giving the column character. Indoors it is used to enrich decorative column systems. Round column ornaments made from polyurethane are lightweight and easy to apply on the column surface. They resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell, and can be painted; they keep fine details sharp. The risk of breakage is lower than with plaster ornamentation. Polure produces round column ornaments with mould precision so that the motif depth and surface details stay distinct.
