Round-plan columned structure

A round-plan columned structure is an architectural arrangement with a circular floor plan and columns arranged around it. It is preferred in garden gazebos, pergolas, and decorative entrance structures to create a circular composition; the columns are arranged along the circular plan, giving both a load-bearing and decorative appearance. The column elements (shaft, base, capital) made from polyurethane are much lighter than real stone and mount easily and quickly on the circular plan. They resist moisture and impact, do not crack or swell, and can be painted; they do not change shape under outdoor conditions. Polure produces the column pieces used in round-plan arrangements so the shaft, base, and capital dimensions are mutually compatible, providing an integrated column array.
