Unlike standard decorative plastics or expanded polystyrene (EPS), Polure Süsleme ornaments are manufactured to meet strict performance metrics:

• Density: 150-200 kg/m³, providing a solid, wood-like surface hardness that resists impact while remaining highly lightweight.
• Temperature Resistance: Maintains structural integrity and dimensional stability from -20°C up to +80°C, preventing warping, shrinkage, or thermal cracking.
• Moisture Barrier: The closed-cell polymer structure results in a water absorption rate of less than 1%, rendering the material completely impervious to rot, mold, and humidity.
• Fire Behavior: Features self-extinguishing properties, meaning the material will not actively support flame propagation once the external ignition source is removed.

Surface Treatment and Paint Guidelines

Every product in our Süsleme category is delivered with a factory-applied primer coat. This primer serves as a preparatory layer that optimizes the surface for the application of high-quality water-based or synthetic topcoats. However, please note that paint manufacturers typically do not guarantee paint adhesion or durability unless their own proprietary primers are used on the substrate. Consequently, applying an additional, system-compatible primer coat before painting is optional and remains entirely at the customer\'s discretion. Polure does not provide paint warranties and accepts no liability for the performance or longevity of third-party coatings applied to our products. For all exterior applications, the use of a high-quality, UV-resistant exterior paint is mandatory to protect the raw polymer from yellowing and UV-induced degradation over time.
