Paintable ornamentation is a polyurethane decorative element produced with a paint-accepting surface that adds relief detailing to wall, ceiling and furniture surfaces. Indoors it is used as ornamentation that completes moulding, panel, column and cornice applications or creates a focal point on its own. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly to the surface with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted any colour. It is lighter than plaster ornamentation and is applied safely at high points, and unlike wood it is unaffected by moisture. Because it is mould-cast, the ornamentation details repeat identically on every piece. Once painted, a look that blends with the surface colour or stands out as an accent is achieved.
