Decorative Polyurethane Fluted Pilaster Column Panel

The P5030P is a high-performance fluted wall cladding panel designed as a flat pilaster column. This architectural element is engineered to introduce structural definition and classical vertical rhythm to otherwise plain wall surfaces, serving as an exceptional decorative feature for both modern and traditional designs.

With a height of 2400 mm, a width of 300 mm, and a slim depth of 30 mm, this product is manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³). This material delivers the solid feel and durability of wood while remaining lightweight. Its closed-cell structure keeps water absorption below 1%, protecting the panel from moisture damage, rot, and thermal distortion, while dimensional stability has been tested between -20 °C and +70 °C.

The surface of the panel features deep, parallel vertical flutes that create a sharp play of light and shadow, visually heightening any room. Unlike traditional plaster, which is prone to chipping and cracking, or MDF, which swells in humid environments, this material offers superior impact resistance and maintains crisp, sharp architectural lines over its entire lifespan.

The application possibilities are extensive. Indoors, the panel excels at framing grand entryways, highlighting fireplace surrounds, and dividing large wall expanses in luxury hotels, offices, and residential spaces. When used on exterior building facades, it acts as a robust corner pilaster or entrance ornament, provided it is coated with a suitable UV-protective paint layer.

Installation is straightforward using standard woodworking tools. The panel is mounted using polyurethane (PU) mounting adhesive and secured mechanically with screws for safety. While the factory-applied primer prepares the surface for finishing, applying an additional primer coat remains optional and should align with your paint manufacturer's technical specifications. Finish with two coats of high-quality water-based or acrylic paint.
