A decorative support element is a polyurethane decorative part placed beneath a cornice, shelf or console that gives the appearance of a load-bearing element. It is used beneath projecting surfaces to create a visual support and complete the transition. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or warp, and can be painted.
