Decorative Polyurethane Column Capital with Acanthus Leaf Detail

The P5230C is a premium architectural element designed to crown decorative columns with classical grandeur. Perfect for high-end residential and commercial projects, this column capital blends ancient Greco-Roman design principles with advanced material technology. It provides a majestic finishing touch that instantly elevates the architectural value of any building facade or interior space.

Crafted from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this capital offers the structural feel and crispness of traditional wood or plaster carvings without the excessive weight. With dimensions of 543x543x420 mm, it is engineered for substantial, large-scale pillars. Its closed-cell composition keeps water absorption below 1%, ensuring it resists rot, moisture, and with dimensional stability tested between -20 °C and +70 °C without cracking, shrinking, or warping over time.

Aesthetically, the capital features a rich, deeply carved design with majestic acanthus leaves rising from the necking, topped by elegant classical volutes at the corners. A delicate floral relief sits gracefully on the curved abacus face. Unlike traditional plaster which chips easily, the precise molded polyurethane captures every intricate curl, vein, and scroll with absolute symmetry and sharp definition, creating beautiful light and shadow play.

This versatile component is designed to perform exceptionally well in both indoor grand halls, hotel lobbies, and luxury ballrooms, as well as exterior facades, stately villa entrances, and open-air verandas. Its robust construction ensures it withstands the elements while maintaining its pristine, detailed appearance for decades.

The product comes with a factory-applied white primer coat, providing a clean surface ready for final painting. While lightweight compared to stone, secure installation requires the use of polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive combined with mechanical screw fixing for ultimate safety. It represents a highly durable, low-maintenance alternative to heavy plaster or expensive carved timber.
