A decorative facade moulding profile is a polyurethane ornamental element with a bar-shaped cross section used to create horizontal or vertical lines on a building's outer surface. It is applied at floor transitions, around windows and at facade corners to create shadow lines and borders. Polyurethane is lightweight; it is fixed to the facade with mounting adhesive and dowels and adds no extra load to the structure. It resists moisture, rain and temperature changes, does not crack or swell and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Compared with plaster and stone equivalents it is lighter, installs faster and carries a low risk of breakage in transport.
