decorative wall column

A decorative wall column is a polyurethane element in a half-column or pilaster form that is mounted onto the wall. It is used in living room, entrance and facade walls to create vertical movement and a classic look, and is usually applied together with base and capital pieces. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. It has no load-bearing role and is purely decorative, which makes it more practical to apply than plaster and stone equivalents.
