A decorative door ornament is a single polyurethane decorative element applied around or above a door; it may be in the form of a corner motif, crown or rosette. It is used on interior and exterior doors to emphasise specific points and add a classic detail. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than its plaster counterpart, the single piece is easy to install. Because it is mould-cast, the motif detail repeats identically on every piece.
