decorative window profile

A decorative window profile is a polyurethane moulding and casing element used around a window opening with a defined cross-section and ornament. On facades and in interiors it is used to frame window edges, tidy the edge transition and add an architectural line. The polyurethane material is light and is fixed with assembly adhesive and screws; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister and can be painted. It is suitable for exterior facade use; unlike a wood equivalent it is not affected by moisture, and compared with plaster it is lighter and more break-resistant.
