A decorative window crown is a polyurethane profile or ornamental element placed at the top edge of a window to crown it. Applied above the window opening on facades, it serves as a top finishing element that emphasises the window in classical architecture. Polyurethane is lightweight, fixed to the facade with construction adhesive, and unlike stone equivalents it adds no structural load. It resists moisture and outdoor weather, does not crack or blister, and can be coated with exterior facade paint. Because it is moulded, the crown details repeat identically on every piece.
