Decorative Surround Pediment

A decorative surround pediment is the profiled polyurethane finishing element that sits on top of a surround and crowns the opening. It is used above door and window surrounds to give the facade a classic upper finish. The polyurethane is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell, and is paintable. On the facade it has low water absorption (below 1%) and, being lighter than plaster or stone equivalents, it is easy to install at height and does not sag over time.
