Decorative Column Cladding

Decorative column cladding is a polyurethane surface element that wraps around an existing structural column or post. It is usually produced as two half-shells; surrounding the existing column, it gives the look of a plain or fluted decorative column. Indoors it is used to conceal exposed concrete columns, and outdoors to shape entrance and porch columns. Include the product weight and fixing loads when assessing the substrate and supporting structure. The material resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or peel, and can be painted; it installs faster and cleaner than plaster render.
