A decorative ceiling border is a profiled polyurethane edge element that creates a frame at the edge of the ceiling or around a section of it. It is used to outline the ceiling, frame the area around a rose or coffer, and emphasise the ceiling-to-wall transition. It serves as an ornamental feature in classic ceiling designs. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or blister, and can be painted. Being lighter than a plaster equivalent, it adds no load to the ceiling and installs quickly. As it is mould-cast, the border pattern repeats identically on every piece and matches neatly at corners.
