Decorative Polyurethane Patterned Wall Border Molding

The P2001C represents a premium polyurethane wall border designed to bring classical architectural grandeur into contemporary and traditional spaces. Measuring 123 mm in height and 34 mm in depth, this substantial molding acts as a striking horizontal accent, perfect for breaking up expansive wall surfaces or framing grand panels. The exquisite relief work offers a sophisticated alternative to heavy plaster or moisture-sensitive wood moldings.

Crafted from high-density polyurethane foam (150-220 kg/m³), the molding provides a wood-like hardness while remaining remarkably lightweight. This density ensures that the elaborate, raised motifs remain crisp and undamaged during transport and installation. Engineered with a closed-cell structural composition, the border exhibits a water absorption rate of less than 1%, making it highly resistant to rotting, swelling, and warping. It retains complete dimensional stability in temperatures ranging from -20 °C / +70 °C.

Visually, the P2001C is defined by its ornate, symmetrical central medallion, which features classic baroque curves and fluid acanthus leaf scrolls. This detailed relief creates a captivating play of light and shadow, elevating the overall aesthetic of any room. Because it is molded under highly controlled factory conditions, every 2180 mm section delivers consistent pattern continuity, helping address the uneven details and imperfections often found in hand-carved wood or manual plaster casts.

This versatile decorative border is highly recommended for high-end residential interiors, boutique hospitality venues, and executive offices. It serves excellently as an ornate chair rail, a decorative frame for accent walls, or a transitional frieze molding below the ceiling. Its water-resistant properties also make it a reliable choice for luxurious master bathrooms and covered wellness areas where high humidity is common.

Installation is highly efficient, requiring standard woodworking tools for precise 45-degree miter cuts. Secure mounting is achieved using a high-quality polyurethane (PU) assembly adhesive combined with mechanical screws. This high-grade polyurethane molding is shipped with a factory-applied matte white primer that prepares the surface for finishing. While this primer aids paint adhesion, applying an additional primer coat is optional and depends on the specific guidelines of your chosen paint manufacturer. For exterior installations, coating the molding with a UV-resistant exterior paint is mandatory to prevent discoloration.
