An exterior facade crown profile is a polyurethane cornice element with steps and projections in its cross-section that forms a perimeter line at the top of a wall on a building facade. It is used to create a profiled line that gives shadow and depth at the upper boundary of the facade rather than a plain strip. The polyurethane profile is lightweight and applied with construction adhesive and, where needed, dowels; it resists moisture, rain and temperature changes, does not crack or blister, and can be painted with exterior facade paint. Because it weighs less than plaster or stone, it adds no extra load to the facade and installs faster. As it is mould-cast, the cross-section profile repeats identically along its length.
