A wall panel motif is a polyurethane relief decoration on the surface of a wall panel that gives the panel a pattern. It is used to highlight the panel surface and create a decorative accent in panel and wainscoting arrangements. The polyurethane material is light and is applied directly with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. Because the relief motif is cast in a mould, it repeats with the same clarity on every panel. Compared with plaster and timber equivalents it installs quickly and adds no load to the wall.
