Classic Batten Design

Classic batten design is the dressing composition in which battens are planned in panel, frame and coffer layouts on wall and ceiling surfaces. By setting the width, spacing and corner transitions of the battens, symmetrical and well-proportioned surface divisions are created. Include the product weight and fixing loads when assessing the substrate and supporting structure. The material resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel and can be painted. Compared with timber alternatives, it has low water absorption (below 1%) and does not swell and installs quickly. Because it is mould-cast, the profile cross-section repeats identically throughout the design. For classic batten design, Polure produces battens in a range of widths and profiles.
