Classical Architectural Door And Window Casing

A classical architectural casing is a decorative band element framing the edges of door and window openings, shaped with classical profiles. It is used to emphasise the edges of openings, create a frame effect on the facade, and define transitions. Casings made from polyurethane are lightweight and, unlike stone or plaster versions, mount directly with construction adhesive. They resist moisture and impact, will not crack or swell, and can be painted, which is why they are also used on exterior facades. Because they are mould-cast, the profile cross-section and corner motifs repeat identically on every piece, keeping dimensions consistent within a frame. Polure produces classical architectural casings in a range of widths and profiles for door and window framing.
