classic corbel

A classic corbel is a polyurethane bracket element produced in a classical architectural style that visually supports projecting building features or shelves from below. It is used as a load-bearing-look decorative support under shelves, at cornice ends, beneath eaves and under windows. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is fixed directly with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, will not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Being lighter than a stone or wooden corbel, it is easy to install at height. Because it is moulded, the scroll and decorative details repeat identically on every piece.
