Modern Skirting

Modern skirting is a flat-lined, plain-section polyurethane floor border applied to the junction of the wall and floor. It protects the base of the wall, gives a neat floor transition and creates a crisp line in modern spaces. Unlike classic profiled skirting, flat and understated sections are preferred. Polyurethane is lightweight and applied with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Compared with wooden skirting it is unaffected by moisture and does not swell, unlike plaster it does not break, and it installs fast. Once painted it matches the wall or floor colour.
