polyurethane hidden lighting

Polyurethane hidden lighting is a method of creating indirect lighting on a wall or ceiling using channelled polyurethane profiles that can hold an LED strip. It is used to conceal the light source at ceiling edges, wall sections and niche transitions to achieve soft indirect light. An LED strip is placed in the channel at the back of the profile, and the profile is fixed to the wall or ceiling with mounting adhesive. Polyurethane is lightweight, resistant to moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. It is lighter and faster to install than its plaster equivalent. Because the channel cross-section is mould-produced, it stays the same along its length. Polure produces channelled polyurethane profiles for hidden lighting.
