polyurethane corbel

A polyurethane corbel is a decorative support element that projects outward from the wall, appearing to carry a cornice, shelf, beam end or eave underside. It usually has a curved volute form and is fixed to the wall surface with assembly adhesive; indoors it is used under cornices and shelves, and outdoors under eaves. The polyurethane material is light and applied as a single piece; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted. Being lighter than a wooden or stone corbel, it needs no extra bracket system. Because it is mould-cast, the ornament and curve details repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces corbels in a range of sizes and motifs.
