polyurethane balustrade

A polyurethane balustrade is a decorative railing system made of vertical newel posts with handrails and balusters between them, fitted along the edge of a staircase, balcony or terrace to prevent falls. Indoors it is used on stairs and landings, and outdoors along balcony and terrace edges. The polyurethane material is light; the pieces are joined with assembly adhesive and a mechanical connection. It resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted. It is lighter than a wooden or stone balustrade and does not rot outdoors. Because the baluster and handrail profiles are mould-cast, the same size and detail repeat on every piece.
