Polyurethane Cornice Moulding

A polyurethane cornice is a horizontal-profile decorative polyurethane moulding applied to the corner where the wall meets the ceiling. It is used to soften the wall-to-ceiling transition and to create a concealed lighting channel; it is common in interiors such as living rooms, reception rooms and hallways. The polyurethane material is light and applied directly to the corner with assembly adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, blister or peel, and can be painted. Include the product weight and fixing loads when assessing the substrate and supporting structure. Because the profile section is mould-cast, the same size and detail repeat on every length. Polure produces cornices in plain, ornate and concealed-lighting types in a range of section sizes.
