polyurethane skirting board

A polyurethane skirting board is a polyurethane profile applied to the lower corner where the wall meets the floor, covering that junction. It protects the base of the wall from splashing water, impact and cleaning marks, and at the same time completes the transition between floor and wall with a clean line. It is used indoors along the lower edge of living room, hallway and bedroom walls. The polyurethane material is lightweight and is applied directly to the wall with construction adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack or swell and can be painted. Unlike a timber skirting, it is unaffected by moisture and installs faster. Because it is cast in a mould, the section profile repeats identically on every piece. Polure produces skirting boards in various height and profile options.
