Polyurethane Log

A polyurethane log is a decorative element or beam, made of hollow polyurethane, that gives the look of a natural wooden log. Include the product weight and fixing loads when assessing the substrate and supporting structure. It is preferred in cottages, restaurants and rustically decorated interiors. The polyurethane is lightweight and is fixed with construction adhesive and a bracket; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or rot and can be painted. Being much lighter than a real log, it is easy to install and needs no maintenance against insects and moisture. As it is mould-cast, the wood texture repeats realistically on the surface. Polure produces its polyurethane logs in a range of lengths, diameters and wood textures.
