Rustic Beam Support

A rustic beam support is a polyurethane corbel or brace element placed beneath an exposed beam in rustic ceiling applications, giving the impression of a wood-look support. It is used at beam ends and wall-beam junctions as an ornamental and structural accent that makes the beam appear to be supported. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied using assembly adhesive and a screwed support; it resists moisture and impact, does not rot or crack and can be painted in wood tones. Compared with a real wood support element it is both light and unaffected by humidity differences.
