Rustic Log Models

Rustic log models cover a range of polyurethane beam and decor types with a timber log look and a moulded wood texture. They are used on ceilings, walls and beam areas to give a natural timber effect in rustic-style spaces. The polyurethane material is lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; it resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and can be painted. Unlike real logs it has low water absorption (below 1%) and does not swell, does not rot and is not attacked by insects; compared with plaster it is lighter and more break-resistant. Because the grain and knot details on the surface are mould-produced, they repeat identically on every piece. Polure produces rustic log models in a range of sizes, textures and forms.
