Fireplace decoration is the general name for the process of dressing a fireplace unit and its surroundings with polyurethane profiles, consoles, crowns and panel elements. It is applied in living and sitting rooms to create a classic or modern look around a decorative fireplace. The polyurethane elements used are lightweight and applied directly with mounting adhesive; they resist moisture and impact, do not crack or warp and can be painted. Because they are mould-cast, the surface details repeat identically on every piece and the complementary pieces form a symmetrical whole.
