Ceiling Rafter

A ceiling rafter is a polyurethane decorative element that gives sloped and flat ceilings the look of a timber rafter. It is used in attic spaces, lofts and rustic rooms to bring a wooden structural texture to the ceiling. Polyurethane rafters are hollow and lightweight; without the load-bearing function of a real timber rafter, they are applied to the ceiling for decorative purposes with construction adhesive and screws. The material resists moisture and impact, does not crack, swell or warp, and its wood-textured surface can be painted; it does not suffer insect or moisture damage. Being lightweight makes installation easier on sloped ceilings. Polure produces ceiling rafters in various width, height and length options.
